Is the Pump included?
Yes, OZTENT Air Tents come with a manual pump included. The manual pump will get the tent up quickly and easily.
Can you overinflate the air poles
The maximum recommended air pressure the poles should be inflated to is 7PSI, however, going above this does not mean they will burst. To help prevent over-inflation, each air tent comes with a pressure valve that connects to the pump. This pressure valve should be attached to the pump as it will limit the pressure to 7PSI. Once this limit is reached it forces the pump nozzle to pop out of the valve.
Will I need to reinflate the poles?
The nature of inflatable tubes means the amount of air that can escape from the tube is almost zero. Meaning the tents can remain standing for a very long time without being re-inflated. However, changes in climate conditions can result in pressure changes leading to the appearance of some deflation. This is a natural phenomenon and does not mean there is a puncture or a leak. If this happens, just add more air to the tube.
How strong are the air poles?
Very. They are made from wear-resistant polyurethane (TPU). For additional protection against bursting each pole is protected by a high-resistance polyethene cover. And because they are filled with air they will not bend out of shape or break if knocked or in windy conditions.
What is 'Rapid Air Frame Technology?
Our ‘Rapid Air Frame Technology’ was designed and developed in Australia by our product team, specifically to endure our harsh, diverse and erratic conditions. Our ‘Rapid Air Frame Technology’ combines our robust high-quality air tubes with our fast-flow air valves and allows us to create air tents with high, sturdy walls and a generous amount of space with outstanding rigidity in all kinds of weather.
What zips are used in the Air Tents?
A combination of SPS and YKK zips, the 2 leading zipper brands.
What if a pole bursts in my AT-4?
The air poles on an AT-4 are attached to the tent and are not replaceable. If the tent is within warranty, and you believe this may be a manufacturing fault, please contact your store of purchase and they will be able to assess your warranty claim. If you purchased the tent directly from Oztent please follow our warranty procedure. www.oztent.com.au/pages/oztent-customer-warranty-claim
Is there a 'Zip-In Tarp Extension' for the AT-4?
No. The AT-4 does not have a zipper for a tarp extension. However, the front door has eyelets in it. It can be unfurled, and poles can be placed in the eyelets and pegged down, this will act as an awning and create additional shade. You will need to purchase poles, ropes and pegs separately
